Hood Tacos KC started with a simple belief: that the best tacos aren't complicated — they're honest. Born and raised in Kansas City, our founder grew up surrounded by the rich Mexican-American food culture that makes this city special.
What began as weekend pop-ups at local markets quickly became a destination. Today, we serve our community from our kitchen on Vine Street, where every taco is made to order with the same care and intention as if we were cooking for family.
We source our ingredients locally whenever possible, make our salsas from scratch every morning, and believe that a great taco should tell a story. Our story is one of tradition, community, and an unwavering commitment to flavor.
